The event is to bring industry together, and to collaboratively look at ways to protect your business from labour exploitation - on your sites or through your supply chains. The session will be interactive and you will need to bring an open-mind with you!
Companies are invited to bring their key-decision makers to participate in this exercise. By using fundamental techniques, participants will learn the signs of site and supply-chain exploitation, and how the 'business' they are given to run, will be affected by 'wrong' decision-making. How will your systems compare to your competitors?
Starting at 9am the event will allow participants to learn from The Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA) who work in partnership to protect vulnerable and exploited workers.
After which, you are cordially invited to share your experiences over some refreshments with your 'competitors' and colleagues alike.
It is anticipated the event will conclude at 12 noon.
